Dmitry Artamonov

Dmitry S. Artamonov was born in Ussuriysk, Russia. His study of painting and drawing began at age seven at the Ussuriysk Junior Art School. His interest in photography also began in these early years, and he honed his skills by photographing his parents and cats. After completing his studies at the Novosibirsk State Academy of Architecture, he began his career as an architect, which continued in Port Townsend where he relocated to at the age of twenty-seven. In 2011 he begin to reignite his pursuit of figure drawing and photography.
